Independence Was Back in VanCity

Man its a huge struggle to finally figure out what you want to do in life, get it all ready have the money and your ready to get moving and start doing something you love as an actual career choice. But then suddenly everything you had set up comes crashing down in front of your face and the sand that you had gathered grain by grain just trickles through the cracks between your fingers. I was able to peace out for quite awhile and go to school in Vancouver, BC. But the situation was only short lived, and now I’m back in Bellingham my home, which is someplace I love with all my heart, but I think my story needs to be written by traveling the far corners of the world. At the time, when I was living in Vancouver, all I could think about is my friends at home, wanting to be able to walk down railroad avenue and feel comfortable with where I’m at. But now that I’m back i feel as if i never realized what kind of independence I left back in the big city. It was hard that I knew absolutely no one, but traveling by myself and figuring out this huge new world, exploring, and creating new adventures, testing the limits, and capturing life through my camera lens of the wide variety of people that spend every waking moment trying to collect cans, in order to make enough money to survive. Or was is to survive? Maybe just to get the next fix, since its a widely known fact that a few doors down free needles are available, and the dinosaur(heroin) dealer is across the street. I’m not really sure where this post is going at the moment.
